Nancy "Nagalaxmi"
LaNasa
Nancy began her Jivamukti Yoga
practice with Sharon Gannon and David Life by being
a student in their first class. She was very lucky
to have received her certification from them in
1995, after having gone to India at their urging in
1990 to do the Sivananda Teacher Training. Nancy is
grateful to Sharon and David for the perfect Yoga
beginning without end, to Rand Hicks for bringing
her to the Integral Yoga of Sri Aurobindo and The
Mother; "all life is Yoga," to her beautiful mother
Betty Loeffert for teaching her to read at the age
of 3 and always having the most fabulous shoes, and
especially to her husband of 25 years Tom LaNasa for
his enduring patience and love. She and Tom live in
the East Village of NYC and Pensacola, FL with their
